Abrasive Wheel Training
Our Abrasive Wheel Training is a half day course designed to provide the course learners with the appropriate knowledge of the hazards & dangers when working with Abrasive Wheels. It also provides learners with the necessary skills to correctly mount an Abrasive Wheel.
On completion of this course, learners will be able to:
List the legal requirements in relation to working with Abrasive Wheels
Select the appropriate wheel or cutting disc for the task
Correctly use & mount an Abrasive Wheel
Understand the function of the Abrasive Wheel (fixed or portable)

This Working at Height training course, helps you to comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005. This course provides employers and employees with the necessary information needed to be able to successfully deal with, working at height risks and control measures. This course is designed to give participants an awareness of the dangers of working at heights.

Chemical Safety Awareness
Chemical Training
Chemical Safety Awareness is necessary for any individual who works with chemicals or are at risk of being exposed to chemicals at work. After taking this course, participants will gain a better understanding of the chemicals they work with. They can also learn the effects different chemicals can have on an individual and how to safely deal with them in the event of an accident occurring.
This programme is designed to train participants how to handle chemicals safely.
At the end of this course you will be able to identify :
List routes of entry of chemicals into the body
· Identify health effects of chemicals
· Identify warning symbols and read relevant product warning labels
· Use an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)
· Identify and use different types of available PPE

Breathing Apparatus
HMG training is a leading provider of breathing apparatus training in Ireland. We train people in various different breathing apparatus. These include Saber Centurion, Draeger and more. The function of our breathing apparatus training is to make sure that the user is competent in the safe and effective use of same. These courses are most suited for marine, industrial and ERT teams.
Breathing apparatus allows the trained wearer to breathe in an atmosphere that would not otherwise support life. Therefore, the quality of the training is very important. Our two day course is suitable for anyone who is required to wear breathing apparatus equipment.

AIM
The aim of this course is to train members of an Emergency Response Team (ERT) and ERT Team Leader to a level of competency so they may deal with and manage both minor and serious emergency situation.
